Dj Scratchy è andato con i Clash in giro per il mondo. «Ricordo che nel tour americano usavamo uno sleeping bus, cioè si viaggiava e si dormiva tutti insieme sullo stesso bus, c’era una grande armonia tra band e staff e io mi sentivo effettivamente uno di loro. Infatti poi Joe Strummer mi ha voluto con sé anche durante il tour dei Mescaleros, la band che formò dopo lo scioglimento dei Clash». In fondo, dentro di se, si sente ancora un punk. «Sempre».
